1 - What is the Nucleon Security agent?

The Nucleon Security EDR agent is a detection and response agent for user or server workstations (EDR). It is designed to protect endpoints against advanced threats, including zero-day exploits and ransomware.

2- How does it work?

The Nucleon agent uses a detection method based on an innovative multi-layer Zero-Trust engine to block all unauthorised behaviour. It also uses machine learning algorithms to detect new and unknown threats.

Some of the key features of the Nucleon agent include:

  • Malware detection and removal: The agent can detect and remove malware from Endpoints, including viruses, Trojans and rootkits.
  • Ransomware protection: The agent can detect and block ransomware attacks, which encrypt a user's files and demand a ransom to release them.
  • Interception of events triggered by processes via a kernel driver
  • Analysis of unknown files
  • Vulnerability reports

Once the agent has been installed, it absorbs internal usage and creates security profiles dedicated to the business.

All in all, the Nucleon agent is a powerful EDR tool that offers complete endpoint protection against a wide range of threats.
